ATLANTA, GEORGIA, Oct. 7, 2013 — You won’t find it in the sky, but it is definitely otherworldly – the 9th solo album from Tai Rotan entitled “UFO” will be landing soon. This eagerly awaited collection of electro-instrumental music will be released via iTunes on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Highly praised by early reviews, Tai’s futuristic sound crosses many genres while still appealing to a wide audience – from New Age to Electronic/Dance, Hip Hop and House. Producer Rico Wade (Dungeon Family / Organized Noize) summed it up succinctly, Tai has captured the “sound of the future.” UFO stands out amongst others by offering a mix of rhythms that roll from one song to the next, taking you on an epic musical journey.

Tai is no stranger to experimenting and pushing musical limits. As noted, “UFO,” is his ninth album to date and amongst his many projects that span from producing to performing. Tai has worked with artists Nas, 50Cent & Kanye West, GRAMMY winning bassist Leonard "HUB" Nelson Hubbard (the ROOTS), Lazie Bone (Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony), Stic.man (Dead Prez), MACH FIVE, Aleon Craft, 2Pac's OUTLAWZ.

His first big break in music came with a track on “Can’t Sell Dope Forever,” an album released by Affluent Records. The song was entitled “Came Up” and featured Young Noble from the Outlawz, Stic.man from Dead Prez, and Lazie Bone from Bone Thugs N Harmony.

NASHAWN’s “ACTUALITY” Album is now available on iTunes

TKRP & Money Machine Records proudly presents NAS protégé NASHAWN’s “ACTUALITY” album to be released digitally on iTunes on Friday, July 23, 2010. “ACTUALITY” features guest appearances from platinum artists NAS, 50 CENT and Kanye West.

Nashawn Jones also known as Millennium Thug is an African-American East Coast rapper and a protégé of Nas. He was born in Queens (raised in The Bronx, New York, U.S.A.). Nashawn began his career in rapping by working with his “cousin” Nas in the late-1990’s. He appeared on many songs with Nas and the rap duo Bravehearts. Nashawn was featured on Nas’ Nastradamus and Stillmatic albums, Ill Will Records QB’s Finest album and also made an appearance on the Bravehearts’ debut album Bravehearted. Nashawn’s debut album, Napalm, was released in 2006 on independent label X-Ray Records. It features guest appearances by Nas, Bravehearts, Ron Smack, and The Ying Yang Twins. The album features production by Swizz Beatz, Alchemist, and Cool & Dre.

ACTUALITY is Nashawn’s second solo album and features appearances from Nas, 50 Cent, Kanye West, Jungle and introducing new artist Santos. The majority of the ACTUALITY album was recorded at Sonic Upgrade/TKRP Studios in Atlanta, GA by Tai "Upgrade" Rotan.

Some of Nashawn’s famous fans include the Yin Yang Twins, 50 Cent, Nas, Mobb Deep, MC Shan, Marley Marl (Juice Crew), Kanye West, Nia Long, and Ron Artest (LA Lakers) to name a few. Nashawn’s style and delivery have been described as a mix between Talib Kwali and Mobb Deep.

Nashawn performed with Nas in London, Paris and Amsterdam on the Momma Made Me Tour (2003), on the R. Kelly Tour (2005), Nas Stillmatic Tour (2005) and at the BMI Urban Music Showcase (2009). The ACTUALITY album introduces upcoming TKRP/Block Knowledge artist Santos whose album is expected to be released in the 2nd quarter of 2011.
